Harbor WildWatch
Inspiring stewardship of the Salish Sea through education since 2004.
With a team of nine staff, led by Lindsey Stover, you'll find Harbor WildWatch on the beaches, in the Marine Life Center, and even underwater! They serve thousands of residents and visitors throughout the year. They are located in the historic Andrew Skansie House on Harborview Drive.
Gig Harbor BoatShop
Perpetuating working waterfront skills, uses, and traditions at the historic Eddon Boatyard and aboard classic vessels of Puget Sound since 2004.
With a team of eleven staff, led by Guy Hoppen, the Boatshop offers a year-round array of boatbuilding, on-the-water, and summer camp programs for residents and visitors. They are located in the historic Eddon Boatyard on Harborview Drive.


Harbor History Museum
Inspiring curiosity about local history and cultural traditions as they connect to the world around us since 1964.
With a team of eight staff, led by Stephanie Lile, the museum offers year-round programs, exhibits, preservation, and research services for residents and visitors. They are located in the museum building on Harborview Drive.
Peninsula Hands On Art
Providing educational art experiences to K-5 students since 2003.
Led by Executive Director Karmen Furer, PHOA designs and implements unique art experiences using a range of mixed media, ensuring that every child finds their creative spirit.


Gig Harbor Film Festival
Cultivating a community of filmmakers and film lovers that celebrates the power of the cinematic arts to educate, entertain, and inspire since 2007.
Led by Executive Director Pamela Holt, the acclaimed film festival is held each September at the Galaxy Theater.
Asia Pacific Cultural Center
Bridging communities and generations through art, culture, education, and business since 1996.
With a team of eight staff, led by Faaluaina (Lua) Pritchard, Asia Pacific Cultural Center (APCC) is a center for cultural exchange providing programs and services that promote the greater awareness, understanding, equity, and inclusion of the Asian and Pacific Islander people.


Narrows Music Society
Enriching the greater Gig Harbor area through the performance of music and promoting music through young artists' educational programs.
Led by conductor Mel Brazley, the Narrows Music Society is an umbrella organization for several performing groups including The Harbor Winds Concert Band, the Dixie Dusters Dixieland Band, jazz combos and chamber groups.
Peninsula Youth Orchestra Association
Helping young people enjoy the many benefits of music-making in the context of a string orchestra...Balancing nurture with rigor and compassion with excellence since 1998.

Led by Christine Faught, Stuart Hake, and Matthew Underwood, PYOA offers Debut, Encore, Junior, and Youth orchestra training and performance.

Civic Orchestra
A vibrant group of musicians who have shared a passion for making music together since 2004.
Under the leadership of Matthew Underwood, the orchestra combines musical expertise with curiosity, creativity, and a touch of humor to create performances that delight our audiences.
Skansie Netshed Foundation
Preserving the Skansie Netshed and the advancement of Gig Harbor's fishing family heritage and commercial fishing industry, since 2015.
SNF members provide individualized tours of the Shed. Our guides give all guests the freedom and flexibility to explore the Netshed at their own pace. The Shed’s artifacts, interpretive signage, displays, interactive activities, photographs, and mixed media (video) encourage deeper discussions about local history.

Northwest Choir Resources
Providing exceptional music experiences to young people and adults in the greater Gig Harbor area since 2021.
Under the leadership of director Stephanie Charbonneau, NWCR includes young singer programs such as Spectrum Choral Academy and Northwest Choir Camps, as well as the newly formed Spectrum Accord for adult singers.
Gig Harbor Sister Cities
Connecting Gig Harbor to the world through citizen diplomacy.
A community organization formed in 2023 to promote "sister city" status between Bodø, Norway and Milna, Croatia.

Peninsula Art League
Bringing Community to the Artist and Art to the Community since 1988.
Founded in the early 1980s, the Peninsula Art League (PAL) brings together creative people from throughout the region to share ideas, explore new techniques, and take part in activities that inspire and enrich the lives of those who live, work and visit the Gig Harbor Peninsula.
Gig Harbor Vintage Aero Museum
The Gig Harbor Vintage Aero Museum is dedicated to preserving and flying rare, historic aircraft, including one-of-a-kind examples found nowhere else in the world.
We view aviation as both engineering and art, and our world-class collection reflects the beauty, innovation, and legacy of flight. Through hands-on education and immersive experiences, we inspire future generations while keeping history alive in the skies.

Peninsula Community Chorus
Performing fine choral music for Gig Harbor and the surrounding area since the 1960s.
PCC is an all-inclusive community choir dedicated to bringing the joy of choral music to the Gig Harbor community and surrounding areas. We strive to perform, create, and enjoy music together, while building community and enriching the lives of our members and audience through the power of choral artistry.
